1. Data controller

The controller of your personal data is IrisTech, Lda., tax number (NIPC) 518653722, with registered office at Praceta Teixeira Gomes, n.º 7, 2700-801 Amadora, Portugal.

2. What data we collect

Contact and professional data you voluntarily provide in the website forms: name, email, phone number, company, the subject of your enquiry, professional area and seniority, location/availability, LinkedIn profile, message and the CV file you choose to attach.

If you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp, we also process the data you include in those messages.

Technical data: for security and operational reasons, the server logs the IP address, the date and the page requested. These logs are kept for as long as needed for those purposes.

We do not intentionally collect special categories of data (e.g. health, beliefs). Please do not include such information in your CV or messages.

3. Purposes and legal basis

Responding to contact and proposal requests, based on pre-contractual steps and our legitimate interest in communicating with clients and prospects.

Managing spontaneous applications and recruitment processes, based on your consent and on pre-contractual steps taken at your request.

Keeping the website secure and working, based on our legitimate interest.

Complying with applicable legal obligations.

4. Recipients and processors

Your data may be processed by service providers acting on our behalf and under our instructions (processors), with contractual data protection safeguards. These are, namely, website hosting and infrastructure, email delivery, recruitment management software and artificial intelligence tools used to organise and analyse applications.

If you contact us on WhatsApp, the conversation is also processed by WhatsApp (Meta), under that service's privacy policy.

In a recruitment context, and only with your authorisation, data may be shared with the client company you apply to. We do not sell your personal data.

5. Automated decisions

We may use artificial intelligence tools to organise and summarise applications, but no decision about you is taken solely by automated means: the assessment is always made by a person on our team.

6. International transfers

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In those cases we ensure adequate safeguards, such as European Commission adequacy decisions (including the EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or standard contractual clauses.

7. Retention period

We keep data only for as long as necessary for the stated purposes. Data from contact requests is kept while we handle the request and during any resulting business relationship, and afterwards only for as long as required to meet legal obligations or to defend legal claims.

CVs and spontaneous application data are kept for 12 months from receipt. Before that period ends we may ask you to renew your consent; if you do not, they are deleted.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data, as well as the right to data portability and to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing).

You can exercise these rights at geral@iristech.pt. We reply within one month at the latest. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (CNPD, www.cnpd.pt).

9. Security

We adopt appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure, including encrypted connection (HTTPS) and access control.

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated. The current version is always published on this page, with the date of the last update shown at the top.
